Andrew Groch conducts Enchanted Evening Orchestra in Ballarat.

This June, the Lianmeng AusChina Senior Choir and the Australian New Goldberg Orchestra will come together for a special evening concert.

Led by Andrew Groch, the performance will showcase a blend of Eastern and Western musical traditions, featuring soloists Juel Riggal and Paul Biencourt.

The event at Civic Hall will include Chinese folk music alongside compositions by Verdi, Bizet, Lehar, Strauss, and Massenet.

Andrew Groch is a young Australia conductor and Artistic Director of the Preston Symphony Orchestra. He completed his Masters of Conducting at the Elder Conservatorium under Dr. Luke Dollman, during which he studied and assisted many conductors including Mark Wigglesworth, Nicholas Carter, and Johannes Fritzsch.

The former Deputy Conductor for the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra, he has conducted the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Australian Youth Orchestra National Music Camp ensembles, and numerous Elder Conservatorium ensembles. An experienced producer, he is currently the Artistic Planning Manager at the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
